John Moulder test drives a Blue Line
Not to long ago I had the pleasure of sitting down with renowned Chicago guitarist, John Moulder. He plugged into a 2012 Blue Line and dug right in. John’s style and sound are incredibly unique and I was fortunate enough to grab a short video of our meeting. This parallel braced Blue Line is made with all European tone-woods, a 25″ scale, and a deep body depth. John was playing through a custom made amp and a Kent Armstrong floating pickup. This video shows how the clarity and acoustic sound of this instrument are not lost when amplified with reverb and delay.
Dan — thanks for posting this! John is such an incredible player (and great guy!). He really gives his guitars a workout, too, so if your guitar can handle John’s attack, it can handle anything.
Peace,
Marc
Thanks so much Marc! John is an amazing musician and you are so right! His playing can be so beautifully delicate and he can also shred your face off. I am looking forward to putting more guitars into his hands. I’m working on a solid body right now that I am eager for him to play. Thanks again for the comment Marc!
