Audio Comparison between an Amati and Adjustable Bridge
This is a nice audio comparison between a carved, single piece maple “cello-style” Amati bridge with an adjustable Macassar ebony bridge on a 2020 Amati archtop. My client recorded this with a Sontronics large condenser tube mic into a Mercury M72 tube preamp with a Deluxe Reverb “clone” built by Mike Clark (no EQ or compression).
