Andy Brown stopped by the other day to have some electronic work done on his 2010 Chicagoan. He was gracious enough to play a few tunes for us. Check out his schedule and recordings at www.andybrownguitar.com.

Greetings Dan. if i closed my eyes while listening to Andy on his Chicagoan ( in shop concert)the sound of the guitar harks back to those 1930s Dangelicos and Gibson L5s non- cutaways.its like going back in time . Andy sounds like aBucky Pizzarelli or Marty Grozs on your guitar with that beautiful crystaline , focused and punchy sound that only an accoustic archtop has (sounds mighty fine plugged in too !best regards from Joseph. ( Melbourne, Australia)

….. and i forgot to say this guitar is only 3 years old !! imagine after 80 years of playing and careful ownership ! ciao, Joseph

Joseph, So nice to hear from you! Thanks so much for the comment and very kind words! Andy is such an amazing musician and it is such an honor to work with him. I often think about how my guitars will sound in the future. That thought is definitely an inspiring one. Thanks again Joseph! I hope we can catch up soon.
    Wish you the best
